My life in a future . . .

When I discovered the anthropology career and its scope, it motivated me to go to the social side. But already in my second year, I doubt if I really go for the social side or for another, since the archaeological side is tempting me. And imagining that if I worked in archeology, I would like to go abroad, but, of course, you must first have some basic knowledge here in Chile. Whether in a museum or in some field research, I see myself inside and outside the country.

I would like to travel a lot around the world, especially in Central and South America. Also in the eastern areas, I don't have much personal knowledge of those areas. I hope I can get there.

But if I decide the social side, I imagine myself working within the country but in extreme, rural and marginal camp areas. Interviews to improve infrastructure in terms of people's needs, work in NGOs or groups seeking projects for the benefit of the community. Personally, I feel committed to the northern area, since the needs arise from the region where I come from due to water shortages or air and soil contamination by mining companies, among others.

Anyway, I don't know how much money is earned in both sectors. And I don't want to know until now because it may cut me off what little inspiration I have for this whole context of confinement in a pandemic.
